One job posting on indeed gets between 350 and 5000 applicants, and most companies look at the first 100 so if you’re 101 guess what you’re out of luck.
So let me give you a couple of quick little tricks that you can do right now in this video before even taking this program that will help you significantly.
The first is even though most job postings in North America say don’t call us we’ll call you and most people wait and never get called.
Call them and say: “My computer just crashed or my internet is not working properly or I didn’t get a confirmation that my application went through. Can you please check?”
The moment somebody checks if your application went through, you are now number one on the list!
So that’s a very simple trick.
A second thing to understand is if you posted your resume on let’s say Indeed or any of the job boards such as Glass Door, CareerBuilder, Monster any of the others let’s say in April or March and now we’re in September for example then you’re probably on page 7,000.
Nobody will see your resume which is probably why nobody is calling you for opportunities.
So most of the big databases such as indeed refresh daily , so depending on when you go to bed and what time zone you’re in
Go to your resume just before you go to bed
Open it press space bar anywhere in the resume and
save it.
The moment that you make a minor modification on your resume it get noticed on the database refresh, which means it’s now considered a new matching resume.
